LifePlot connected care framework was used to save lives. Primary health care workers that could easily travel to villages were taught to take ECGs using the LifePlot device. The results are transmitted to a physician’s smartphone using WiFi/GPRS for diagnosis. The physician directs the primary healthcare worker to bring the patient for consultation/hospitalization as needed.
